1st Step: schedule a date to fly

Please note: As a courtesy DYB has no cancellation fee, however we request that you inform us immediately and in advance if you are unable to keep your reservation. We fly over 800 passengers each year and always have a list of passengers waiting to fly. We also can be booked as much as two months in advance during our short five-month flying season in New England.

2nd Step: call back 2 days BEFORE your flight date

To "check in" leave a message saying

Your name

And day

And time of your flight

Please Remember-- since two days ahead is too early to discuss weather, etc.,

No info will be available about your flight at this time

Therefore DYB will not return your call.

(remember to read our Release Form prior to your flight)

3rd Step: wait to receive a call from your pilot

For am flights: at 9 pm the night before your flight

For pm flights: at 3pm the same day of your flight

Your pilot will tell you the specific directions as to the time and location where you will meet with the chase crew.

Please don't worry, in most cases you will have approximately 3 hours from the time of this call to get to this location. (remember to read our Release Form prior to your flight)

General directions are as follows:

In Maine Auburn- Rt. 95 north exit 75 to Rt. 4

In New Hampshire Derry- Rt. 93 north exit 4

In Massachusetts Westboro- Rt. 495 exit 23B or Ma Pike exit 11B

(Worcester area)

On the day of your flight please bring with you:

Flight certificate / coupon / Ticket Confirmation

$20.00 per person fuel surcharge in check or cash 

Closed toe shoes, jacket, cameras

Your sense of adventure!

As proof of purchase any of the following will need to be signed and given to your pilot at the time of your flight.

Release Form - Hot Air Balloon Agreement (please read prior to your flight...now is a good time)

If you do not have any written confirmation of your purchase please contact DYB before your flight to make arrangements otherwise you will not be able to fly on the date scheduled.

In the event of cancellation due to wind and/or weather:

Call DYB to reschedule your adventure as soon as possible.

Please note that safety is always our first concern! Keep in mind many people are able to fly on their first try, however due to our need for low wind conditions, etc. others may need to reschedule several times.

Mother Nature always has the final word-but that’s part of the spontaneity and adventure!
